They just threw in their lot with the notorious Comparator (IDID). LANGHORNE, Pa. (Dow Jones)--Digital Descriptor Systems Inc. (DDSI) finalized a strategic marketing alliance with Comparator Systems Corp.(IDID). In a press release, Digital Descriptor said Comparator's live fingerprint capture and compare firmware/software capabilities will be integrated with its law enforcement Compu-Capture 2000 Video Imaging System. The company said Digital Descriptor's Compu-Capture 2000 product is a windows-based imaging and software system used for booking suspects by law enforcement agencies for use in identifying suspects in line-ups and tracking inmates by correctional facilities. Digital Descriptor Systems develops and markets computer installations, consisting of hardware and software. Comparator Systems develops and manufactures biometric identification systems.
