Mr. Martin,
Well spoken...

It is now official, The Senate has given its approval to lying while under oath to tell the truth. It is tacitly ok to tell a lie, just don't tell a major lie.

ramifications: No way to tell for sure if a testimony is truthful or not. At that point "justice" fails.

There is no longer equal protection under law.

Power, popularity and influence are now shields between personal conduct and consequences that were once required by law.

ramifications: The ruling class returns to America

In the distant past Law and Justice were synonymous terms. In my lifetime Law has become neutered. Justice this time, next time maybe not (It depends on the situation)...

Situational law is counter to rule of law

Ever read George Orewells book "1984"?
