Don't think it matters a lot in the grand scheme of things. He is the only one who was saying truth for most part of 1998. Withe exception of his January upgrade of Intel, he seem to have resisted the pressure from his sales force. In that respect, his getting canned is indicative of the less demand for truth in the la la land of brokerage houses. Definitely a sentiment indicator.
