Yes Johannes, those are broad generalizations as you adeptly point out. Of course, we all know that in an opinion forum, thats what passes as debate.

Now, if you see any political party get up and say "Murphy Brown is a bitch" or the absolute dumbest, most abusive god fearing parents are better than any brilliant, kind, atheist parents, or certain areas of the country (Hollywood) is completely amoral - and they proceed to build their entire party platform around these generalizations then you and I agree.... generalizations as party platforms are bad. That is what you are saying isnt it?

BTW Im tired of this Murphy Brown topic lets discuss taxes instead - just as oppressive by the Reblicans. In fact I heard on the radio last night that banking reform almost passed last time until Phil Gramm (aka the human turtle) vetoed it based on some wording in the bill saying banks should look into lighter ristrictions for inner city rebuilding projects.
