Release today from PMIS: PREMIS to buy back shrs in next 3 months MINNEAPOLIS, Feb 12 (Reuters) - PREMIS Corp., the developer of retail management systems which earlier this week announced plans to liquidate its operations, said Friday it would buy back up to $600,000 worth of its shares over the next 90 days. ''We believe that the liquidating value of the company will be higher than the value the market is currently placing on the stock,'' Fritz Biermeier, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. PREMIS on Monday said that after failing to find a corporate partner, strategic alliance or buyer for the company, its directors would propose that the company wind down and liquidate its operations. Shares of PREMIS had not traded on Friday. The stock closed Thursday at 15/32.
