Man, I should have gone by my intuition. Something felt wrong this time with dell. I should have bought those Feb 95 puts yesterday when they were (relatively) cheap. Greed kills again. That would have protected my flank (my horrible spread position which I can't seem to get out of) and it wouldn't have cost that terribly much in the grand scheme of things. Technically dell has no real support until 82 or so which will eviscerate my Feb 85 calls. I think a lot of this action is actually solely to wipe out call buyers like me. Thus I do think dell will be fine after next Friday but that won't help option fools like me one bit. One question I have is: Let's say that Niles is right about dell's earnings. Do people here think that we will then go down some more on Wednesday or is today the reaction and we have already bottomed out? Something tells me we go down some more from here if the numbers aren't stellar, but I'd like to get other people's opinions.

Not a lot I can do but hope and pray. And please Michael Dell for the sake of us option fools announce a split on Tuesday...
