Assuming Bear Stearns is doing the underwriting, how long do they have to be restricted prior to the IPO announcement? What is the earliest and latest you would expect? With all the anticipation of an IPO, and a large investor to be announced, it's difficult to understand the stocks movement in the past week, especially yesterday when stocks were up strong, and IDTC faltered. I believe next Thurs earnings are to be released. Do you think momentum players are getting out prior to the already anticipated disappointment? Could we see a good bounce next week on the earnings, mirroring the drop in price the stock has historically experienced when earnings beat expectations? I bought some March Calls today, and started to second guess my position since IDTC didn't bounce up from yesterday's low considering news was announced today, and significant news may be announced Tuesday. David
