All of us in our own ways contribute to the market equilibrium as we use our respective bits and pieces of information - pre market open for you and analysis of IDC data for Gabriel, for example - to make our investment decisions. Individually, none of us has access to all the information, but collectively all the information available to all the participants are already in the market price, which is therefore in instantaneous equilibrium.

Or at least this is how the theory goes.
