Jeff,

So why have insiders bought approx. 500,000 shares since 7/98 between 10 & 13?

I'm not disputing your reasoning, its just that there are always two sides to each story. Also how did the inventory situation look for the semi-equip. stocks over the last 12 months? Especially 3-4 months ago in 10/98 when stocks like NVLS were at 21 (70 today) or KLAC at 21 (60 today) or AMAT at 23 (67 today)?

Now I know the market in general was at its low in 10/98 but the inventory situation was *rap back then, & if you would have sold based on that you would have sold at the lows. Coincidentally ELY is very close to its lows.

I'm not challenging your conclusion, but I am trying to shed some light on an alternative viewpoint.
