I totally agree Gabriel, and have been posting to all..the lack of recognition of storage's contribution is the real mystery here...from Salomon Smith Barney..such mistakes are to be expected...but Niles?
He's one of the more accurate ones.....He is sticking with .30! 5.2 B revs...Wow...

Geez, the guy from Southwest Securities (Cody?) just said he expected ASP for Dell to go from 2500 to 2300.....Huh? Are these guys just throwing out numbers or what....I find it impossible to believe that there would be no pub of such a trend (if it occured) during the quarter...Remember 1/2nd quarter...independent articles every other week about falling ASP's...

If we are talking about falling ASP's in the second half of January (only)...that would have a limited effect on earnings...and, certainly could not, alone, push 4Q ASP's from 2500 to 2300...

Something is smelly here....
