Some bare facts about Rambus bear markets (actually good news)
Since January 1, 1998, Rambus has gone through 3 bear markets, including this one. I define this as where the stock price is under the 13 dma for extended periods of time.
February 24, 1998 through March 30, 1998 Duration: 25 trading days May 13, 1998 through June 15, 1998 Duration: 23 trading days January 12, 1999 through February 12, 1999 Duration: 23 trading days
Notice a pattern here? This is very typical for this stock. Note that after all of these "bear" markets in Rambus, the stock is at higher levels than it ever used to be.
If past is prologue, we should be done with this nonsense very, very soon. If so, and with the general market permitting, we should see higher highs very, very soon.
Keep a positive outlook and trust your instincts and you'll be alright. After all, if you just bought and held this week, you really didn't do that bad.
Good luck all. |
