Dave, Thanks for the link to the Brean Murray report. I wonder when Philip Putnam intends to update it? - probably June (it's dated 12/14/98). He is certainly not going out on a limb with his valuation, using a PE of 25 as the bottom end for it - which means $5.50 based on their very conservative Y2K EPS of $0.22. With the exception if IBM and Oracle, none of HDIE's competitors (IONA, BEA Systems, TSI, NEON, Level 8, QAD) have PEs that low. They are more like 100, which would bring HDIE up to $22.00. I noticed that the strictly health-care software companies like Cerner, SMS, IDX, and SunQuest all have much lower PEs. From the standpoint of share price alone, there is ALOT to be said for a name change!
