Addi, One more thought on Kurlak: We investors don't always get the stock price right. But Kurlak had difficulty getting the TREND DIRECTION right. Jock has some good memories of Tom, I am sure, from his better days. But the last couple of years, I don't think he did as well as the typical baseball player (where .300 might be considered good) My recollection is particularly sharp of the December 16th, 1997 downgrade of MU by Kurlak.. DavidG and EGraphs were buying MU strongly on the 15th, and this thread was calling MU a screaming BUY as Kurlak was telling ML investors to avoid (Precisely at the bottom for MU) Here are some selected quotes from the conversations back then:
First: EGraph plans to buy MU and thread thinks MU is screaming BUY:

Egraph buys:

DavidG confirms his MU buys and wonders if Kurlak will reverse his (just issued) downgrade):
Message 2992878
Postscript: MU was straight up from that day.
Jock: We respect your opinions, and your contributions to the thread have been enormous... but please understand that our memories of Mr Kurlak's calls may differ..
