TAKFAI, In general I agree with your statement. The number of people using standard brokerages (traditional and on-line) who make foolish investment decisions, listen to the latest hot tip from a broker and place trust where they shouldn't is ENORMOUS. One question - You include Datek. Why? I'm setting up an account with them. So far I encountered hassles, delays and difficulty in reaching customer service. BUT, assuming that I can get past that, and assuming that Datek provides good access and order executions, why are they lumped in with the other companies? I assume that you prefer companies like MBTrading and Cybertrader. Why are these folks better? And yes, I'm a novice trader. I've reached the level of "Concious Incompetence" (You aware of how really ignorant you are!). Thanks in advance, Dan.
