Interesting post.

But if there is limit of how many coins can be purchased, alternative sources of coinage will become popular.

But also people could likely just opt to buy gold bullion instead, or purchase gold certificates.

Afterall, people still will need to sell that gold and convert it into dollars to purchase goods. The issue will be how many dollars each ounce converts into.

And that is when I also think the CBs might step in and sell gold reserves in order to provide liquidity to the gold market, just as they do with the Fiat money markets.

This is still the variable that eludes all goldbugs or precious metals investors. What will the CBs do with their gold reserves.
