How do you go about getting out on the upside? I know how to limit my losses, where support on a stock should be and things like that.

Should I have a definate profit exit before I go into a stock or should I just watch the charts? Generally, what I have been doing is a 2 prong process: use the charts to tell me we are coming down or the profit percentage is high enough that I should grab the money and run. What is a high enough percentage for me depends on how high it went over what period of time.

Any sugguestions?
