The company said on Dec. 23 that it was uncertain of the order, which it said was worth about $0.06 to $0.07 per diluted share. ''We were encouraged to be in the final round but, of course, we're extremely disappointed that SCT did not emerge the winner in this contest,'' said Michael Emmi, chairman and chief executive. The company said in a statement it has revised its revenue expectations for the second half of the year in line with its concerns about the Y2K problem as well. The company said it is implementing a cost containment program to be consistent with revised revenue expectations. Systems & Computer provides client/server, mission-critical, enterprise software and a series of information technology services for higher education, government, manufacturing & distribution, and utilities.
