Larry,

I agree with you except I don't think it will take a "major contract" to trigger a spike up. Any contract announcement will signal the market that the product is indeed ready. Everyone knows the world is always ready for a better battery. In fact, a better battery will create more uses for batteries just because it lowers the bar that has kept certain applications tethered to an outlet. There are a lot of people like you out there who are very careful. You are all hoping you can catch the wave before it passes you by. There are a lot of fund managers who would like to report a three or four bagger next quarter in their portfolio. Because of Valence's history of delays they have to wait for the wave to appear before they hit the trigger. I believe there are a lot of fingers on the trigger right now. Those of us who have already established strong positions and who have suffered the pains of the December selloff and the recent down drifting (not to mention those who have suffered through the years of disappointing false starts) will be the big winners. We are the reckless gamblers. We have cursed our foolishness many times over. The more prudent out there can also be rewarded. How much will depend on how long you wait to pull the trigger. It is like a game of "chicken." Wait too long and you lose the game. Many have jumped too soon and also lost the game.

Even a small contract will be recognized as the "wave." Even a hint at a small contract. A large contract? Watch out.
