So these analysts went out today and expressed different views. Who won? I don't think 66 million shares represent a lot of retail action. So if this is institutional selling going on today (and in the last few days), are they just nervous nellies or are they pretty much are in the know as to what will happen on Tuesday?

Interestingly, $5.5 billion is about $60 million a day. So they missed about 5 days worth, probably more if the sales are more skewed towards December. I'm pretty much inclined to believe the corporate sales weakness because not only are funds being allocated to Y2K but personnel too. Buying PC's for corporations doesn't mean just pluggin g them in then go. It involves a lot of planning for software standardization, installation. Windows 2000 is possibly adding into the picture.

Tuesday's forecast ... further drift down to $85 as more investors unload shares and buy calls instead. If I were long, that's what I will do. This is very much like poker. Was it just a bluff today. Will investors stay in the game just to see the hand?
