Re StockTax98, I just ordered a copy after trying to match my
Datek Quicken entries (hand-entered from a daily journal), with my
confirmation slips. Since I didn't keep up on this during the year,
and since Island split many of my orders into weird sizes, it was
all a huge mess and after the better part of a day I hadn't gotten
very far. The StockTax98 program did a nice job of matching, sorting,
and totaling my 1998 transactions, using the data from Datek's
history pages. Now I am working on my RealTick files. So far, so
good. I think it was worth the $35.
