Follow the thread back a bit for sources. Rumors and such so far, but there are too many rumblings saying the same thing to discount. PR does not count as information in my book, btw. Information is something like this: zdnet.com Even if true, you'd never hear that from a company spokesman. Besides, as I said, Merced's technical prowess is unimportant if the PC market is slowing. Potential trouble with Merced just ices the cake. The company will still do fine, but the stock will not. Price is everything. I'm not sure what I think the stock is worth, but it's well south of $100. What's your fair value? And why? mb
