This is such idiotic thinking. Juries from here on out are not going to use this political show trial as a guide to deciding community standards. Most people in America understand that there is a big difference between the President of the United States, the most important leader in the world, and average every day people. The President, it was well understood, isn't just like you and me. He is an exceptional person in an exceptional role and what happens to him affects many things on many levels; this isn't true for average people. The Constitution was set up to account for the unique role the President plays. Who else in this country functions as one branch of a 3 branch government? To compare average people with the unique role of the Presidency is just ridiculous and was the big problem with the argument made by the House. The Senate has all along; all through the Republican radicalness in the the House; brought sanity to it all and shot down the extreme behavior coming out of the house. The Senate shot down most of the Republican Revolution agenda. I watch all of this daily and enjoyed seeing the Senate prove itself to be significantly more intelligent and balanced in dealing with what was clearly a radical agenda in the House. This impeachment was the climax and end of the House radicals. They are finished. The won't be around after 2000. They will be targeted; not for some dumb desire to get even, but for their obvious weakness and radicalness. They are sitting ducks and I can't wait to see them picked off by the duck hunters that are starting to mobilize. Quack quack - brooommmmmmmm!!!!
