Have you tried dogpile.com? Pretty impressive. Looks like a super search engine. Uses many other engines to search. Thanks for the info. All other search sites are good if you want to buy something, or find some general information. What I like about Alta Vista is its advanced Bolean search option. I can make Bolean expression as long as I want and it narrows the search down to exactly what I want to find. I usually start my search with a very basic expression, and than add elements to weed out the garbage. Very fast and very precise. This is the "ultimate weapon" if you want to find something particular on the Web. Looks like Alta Vista's data base is smaller than some others, but still it is my favorite.
