Walter, I assume you were referring to this one...Here's my two cents worth, both optimistic and pessimistic. If the post is true then management's creditability is again awash. What has been told at the water cooler was that Medinah indeed won and that the LaSerena courts chose/were scared/etc. to issue the decision because of unemploying people that worked at the mine. Who really knows what has occurred at LaSerena. The silence from Medinah, and the case now being in Santiago raises many questions. Was this poster accurate and as a last ditch effort it was appealed to courts in Santiago?, Was indeed what was heard at the water cooler accurate and Medinah won hands down, and now its a matter of calculating what they are owed. Who knows!!!. I find it interesting that the decision was expected any day, any day, any day back in December, and coincidentally Dayton finally reached an agreement with their banks...Was the Dayton lenders waiting for a decision and finally heard it and was pleased, or were they deceived?, again who really knows. All I can say is that I have not heard of any decision being handed down. If it was and Medinah was not pleased with the LaSerena courts then they need to do some water cooler damage control, and my monday morning QB is that they should have been open and honest if indeed the DAY poster is correct. But then again, nothing has been released from DAY or MDIN so any speculation is pure speculation on our parts. It would have been a great victory for Medinah, with a loss just being a "no big deal, but coulda shoulda..". If the DAY poster is correct then the way it was handled by Medinah would greatly put in question management's creditability in my mind, and I wouldn't care if they hit the mother lode of all mother lodes, I simply could not trust a single vowel of what they said. But again, the fat lady hasn't sung yet. This SI jury must not reach a decision til all the facts are weighed. I have confirmed thru independent sources in Chile that the civil courts will reopen in Chile in March, I also have independent sources in Chile that are "looking" into a few things for me, again I will have no problem sharing my DD with this thread.

Have a great weekend, its off to Mardi Gras !!!!!

DAY IR said that two decisions were handed down in December
both in favour of Dayton. One was not able to be heard due to scheduling difficulties prior to the Feb. recess. MDIN has yet to win any action against Dayton in Chile. Dayton is waiting until the decision of the third action is handed down prior to issuing a PR.

Still expect a restructuring proposal on the debs soon.
