Sorry, stocks are not a zero-sum game. If a company creates wealth, and this is reflected in increased stock price, all benefit. Stocks would be a zero-sum game if we were just trading static stocks whose value didn't change over time, and we were trying to cheat one another on price. However, when you buy intel at 100 when the stock is justly worth 100 and sell at 150 when it's justly worth 150, you win, without having stolen that $50 from anyone; that is not a zero-sum game. (though you could conceive it as a zero-sum game if you were a marxist: in that case, it's all the Intel factory workers whom you've cheated, since that extra value "belongs" to them...)
