No, that's wrong. A nearer term future trading at a higher price when prices are already low historically indicates an acute shortness of supply building in the commodity -- coming off of a bottom this is a very bullish indication ... I'll find a site that has definitions for commodities trading and post the URL -- I got started looking for it the other day and got sidetracked ... Gte it this afternoon for you. Perhaps there'll be a more eloquent explanation as to why it is bullish than what I have given.
