Mohan - Re. 'competitors' - I think ML was referring to their competitor Robertson Stephens not Dell's competitors CPQ etc. I mean CPQ can hardly estimate their own earnings, much less Dell's...<BG>. So I'm not quite sure as to what people are talking about when they say growth is slowing. It helps to take a slightly longer view than just 1 year as this lot at BBRS seems to be doing. I mean even with their high forecast of 5.5B growth from 1997-1998 is lower than 1996-1997, while a growth of 48% (5.2B) is higher than 4 of the last 9 years - so what exactly is their point? Re. TA - I read a few posts here that Dell comes down to its 50DMA - according to this chart it seems to follow its 13DMA more closely - not that I use these TAs for anything more than entry points (since I haven't exited yet - :)) And certainly it occasionally does hit its 50DMA - you can pretty much read the chart any way you want I guess. The question is whether it will this time...I don't quite think so which is why I bought some more at 91 1/16 - maybe should have waited - but I can't spend all that much time on looking up stuff during work- <BG>. clearstation.com At any rate have a GREAT weekend all.....(smiles)... and take care...
