Robert - you are still confused. He was ACQUITED. That means the jury didn't want to CONVICT him and subject him to removal from office.

It does not mean he was NOT GUILTY.

All this means is that the generally-polled populace of our country has been convinced that perjury and obstruction of justice are not crimes that justify removal of a sitting President.

Lowly "citizens" like you or me will still be prosecuted and sentenced for such things.

As it has been said, "It is good to be king."
