Do you completely lack perspective?

Well perhaps. The problem could be regional. You said in an earlier post that their was no anger among the voters directed towards the religious right. WRONG. But it could be a west coast thing - I have been out here all year. Even Tom Campbell, whose seat was pretty much assured, in a the wealthiest district in the country (or pretty close to it anyway) is no longer a shoo-in in 2000. Barbara Boxer won her seat thanks to this obvious anger towards the far right in California. Rogan will be removed in 2000 as will every other republican. This in a strongly republican biased state. I am willing to concede that not everywhere is like California, however you have got to acknowledge that when your largest and most populus state has this problem, well then YOU have a problem.

In essence, I think it is you that lack perspective regarding the general perception towards the right.
