I agree with valg that the glutamate dehydrogenase discovery will take about 8 years before it will be effectively brought to a situation where it will be commercialized. The wheat studies appear to be the initial gene transfers, but a bigger market would be corn if the gene can be inserted and effective reulated in this species. As valg says, it takes some time for regulatory clearance, and then nature has to expand the plant stock into seed.

This technology, like transgenic plants expressing antibodies as I mentioned once before by Agracetus scientists, is why I have bought this stock for the long term for my children's college accounts. Both of these technologies could be big, similar to our prediction about 1 1/2 years ago concerning Celebrex.

I'm looking for a run from our current trading range of 45 to 49, to 56 to 58 after the PR hits on the copromotion of Celebrex to the doctors in the next couple of weeks. I had been trading this stock in my IRA, and bought (again) several times below 40 3/4. I'll evaluate whether I sell them in the high 50's over the next month. Of course I have other long term holdings in MTC.
