Hey don't ask me! Ask Michael and company. I have very strong feelings for Fibre Channel. I feel that it's growth will be exponential. But the better play on Fibre Channel is QLGC, which business is very much concentrated in Fibre Channel. Also LSI has over 80 percent of the design wins in Fibre Channel, so that too would make it a much better Fibre Channel Play than Dell. Moreover, as a percentage of revenues, Fibre Channel is but a miniscule portion of Dell's sales--certainly less than one quarter of one percent.

As far as having the "numbers", it is axiomatic that there is significant cyclicality in the storage business. Take a look at almost all of the various players in storage, with the exception of EMC, and Dell isn't remotely close to being an EMC.
