Ken, re:

>>ATT/Time Warner. It now seems likely they will use a common technology for cable telephony. Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears, for the immediate future, that technology will be supplied by Antec<<

I've asked about this myself in the past. Which network elements are you referring to? The HFC broadband side, fiber to the node, etc. or the proposed voice [cable-iphony] facilities?

There is an outstanding large [previously announced] deal between T and the Arris/Cornerstone alliance, as it were (which includes ANTEC), in connection with the TCI part. And ANTEC has also supplied TWX, along with others, in the past.

I don't know how this plays with the TWX component in this proposed (maybe 'hypothetical' is a better word?) merging of their respective ISP functions, though. Perhaps someone else can answer this.

Regards, Frank Coluccio
