Shalom,
I believe it is you who has misinterpreted the scriptures.
And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward; for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. Genesis 13: 14-15.
Especially read Genesis 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And then he goes on to say.... Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
In all the history of Israel they never once possessed all the land... why not? Who neglected their part of the bargain....God? Not likely, you may recall that during the time when Joshua was getting very old he was rebuking the people for not possessing what God had already promised them. He was speaking for God to them, basically saying, I promised you this but your too afraid to claim it so now you'll have to pay the consequences. And pay they did, in all their history they only had a handfull of peacefull years. So yes, the promise was twofold, and only one party kept their part of the deal.
Heaven and earth shall pass away because God said it will. Are you saying that before this happens the Children of Israel are going to reclaim everthing God had originally promised? If they were too fearfull the first time around what makes you so certian that they wouldn't be if given a second chance? And if they did, how long before the old earth passes away anyways?
Jesus said to set your affections on the eternal things, not on the carnal.
