E, can you possibly have this discussion without making it personal? If you cannot, then I think we should stop it, because I am continually offended by your assumptions about me, and the spin you are putting on them.
I certainly do not believe that my beliefs are superior to yours in any way. I tried to explain that I am coming from a biological/species protection angle, which simply doesn't have revenge as an issue, and that you SEEM to be coming from an angle that is actually quite spiritual--that our highest selves fight the impulse to be revengeful, and show love and tolerance and understanding instead. This would actually make you MORE noble than I am, and yet you seem to take everything I say and turn it into some kind of insult against you.
However, since it seems to me that you are twisting just about everything I say, could we just stop the discussion? You are not going to change your position, I am not going to change mine, and I am frankly tired of the personal attacks, with your projections of what is in my heart, which you could not possibly know.
