The truth is very few of them ever even saw it. " How do you know what what the majority of Jews believe? Have you taken a poll or something? BTW, do they know whether or not Joseph was one of the twelve patriarchs and do they know there was only one Abraham? Do they know that all of the people you named lived and died before the nation of Israel came into existence, though some of them lived part of their lives within the future land of Israel?
