The US economy seems to be doing real good, anybody has some thoughts on how this will affect the stock market ? The following is from Bloomberg :

"U.S. Budget Surplus to Rise to Record $107 Bln in '99, CBO Says"

"The U.S. federal budget surplus will rise to $107 billion
this year and total $800 billion over the next five years,
according to new estimates released by the Congressional Budget
Office tomorrow. The nonpartisan budget agency raised its
estimate of the surplus from $80 billion in the fiscal year
ending Sept. 30, and boosted its five-year surplus estimate to
$800 billion from $520 billion, CBO Director June O'Neill told
Congress. The CBO's new estimate reflects the strength of the
U.S. economy, and as a result of strong growth and low
unemployment, rising tax revenue. CBO is projecting that federal
tax receipts will rise to $1.815 trillion this fiscal year, up
from an earlier projection of $1.801 trillion."
