You will be pleased to know gateway after announcing the purchase of AMd K6 2-400 for a mobil notebook is now in final test stages with an AMD-K6 III (Pentuim III chips no where in site)system offering. Gateway found the K6 2-400 sprouting the 256mb cache and 3-D now grapics produced such a screaming machine when coupled with a 15" screen and 128 Sram, producing flawless digital signal from the built in DVD rom drive. Once again The Eye balls have it and AMD 3d now made the difference. This is not(Repeat NOT for emphsis) your ordinary Traveling Parrie Home Companion. Selling in Japan for 249,800.00 yen $2,150.00 Us were watching hiquality video from DVD is a religion. The machine specs out comparable to the Dell 7000 inspiration mounting the new PentiumII 366 with 128mb cache being pushed out the door at a stagering price of $3,500 and change. Realy now. Who does Micheal dell think he kidding? Gateway is poised to cache in with the AMD chips.
