Bette, My mother-in-laws name is Betty. One time when I was at there house I found her Tenach from when she was a young girl. There were notes and prayers written on almost every page. When she became an adult and was married she continued to have this deep relationship with God and when someone told her that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah she prayed about it and accepted it as the truth. Not everyone in any religion is rebellious to God because you were. She found God through Judaism because she was seeking to know him. I praise God that you were healed and most of all for your relationship to Jesus. This did not and does not give you the right to claim an entire group of people are proud and that is not our commission. We are to give the Good News of Jesus salvation and that is it. After reading this thread for a short time no one could agree with you that Jews are revered here. Actually it is the opposite, there is a focus on their religion, business practices etc..besides an outright lack of faith in God to let them somehow destroy innocent people. That does not glorify the Lord but does the opposite as you can see from the testimonies of the non believers here. Every culture of men does not measure up to the standards of a Holy God so why pick one to spend many hours researching their sins as though it was special. Is it to convince yourself that you are right to separate yourself from these people that loved you instead of patiently and lovingly sharing the beauty and love of Jesus with them? From this one post you have destroyed your witness to any non believing Jews here and it is not Biblical or necessary IMO. Salvation is Not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God. I have only seen people saved by the revelation of the Holy Spirit as in your case so why are you and others trying to force conversation instead of praying with long suffering and tears before the Lord? I am glad you are hear and I have prayed for you and your family and will continue. May the Love and peace of the Lord Jesus fill us all, Nancy
