What are you trying to say? That because the Senate is made up of gutless, self-serving politicos that chose to ignore the rule of law and vote based on their political careers instead of their consciences, that none of the tawdry facts about Clinton are true?
Can you honestly sit there and say, that Clinton's sordid past just disappears because he wasn't convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice by a jury of his professional and moral peers?
Sorry Patricia, but the failure to convict in the Senate was not some sort of magical time warp that erased Clinton's actions. It was just another example that in America today that you can get whatever justice your money can buy or that your power can coerce.
I, for one, always thought it ironic that with all of his other crimes and acts against the American people that Clinton should be brought to account for a sexual dalliance and for lying about it. To me that was akin to catching a serial murderer, because he ran a red light. The important thing was that he was stopped.
The same people glorying in his evasion of justice today will be claiming that they never "really" believed in him when he is finally brought to justice.
If you want to rebut this particular post, please start by telling what you know about the facts concerning Juanita Broadrick. If you don't know about her it is only because the clout of the Clinton White House is so enormous and the blind bias of the media so complete, that you might not have heard anything about her. A simple query on almost any search engine will allow you to research the facts of her case.
The scary thing to me about this entire sordid mess is not that someone like Clinton was able to rise to the pinnacle of power. That's not surprising at all. The entire political process as it stands today is nothing but a giant cesspool and the politicians that come out on top are the ones that can hold their breath the longest and swim through the most shit. The scary thing to me is that even a small percentage of our populace can buy into such an obvious farce as Clinton has perpetrated. To those of us that can see through his smoke and mirrors, Clinton is a grotesque snake oil seller. I just wonder how long he can continue to get the rest of you to keep buying his bottled sewage.
I'm no fanatic, no bomb flinging anarchist. I would never advocate the removal of Clinton outside of the rule of law. I have already given, proudly, 28 years in the service of this country and it breaks my heart to see that it might have been for nought. I'm not talking about Clinton's sexual predation. That's just a window into his character. I'm talking about his abuse of power and blatant disregard for the Constitution.(Please read transcripts of his Executive Orders 13083 and 13107 and try to picture the effect they would have on the Bill of Rights, specifically as it refers to the rights of the individual). It won't take too many more years of Clinton or others like him to bring America as it was conceived to it's knees.
Wake up. It's not about sex. It's about the Constitution of the U.S. It's about our survival as a nation in a hostile world, with a leader that would sell us out (he is selling us out) if it furthered his personal vision of a "new world order". It's about our freedom.
Mrs. Bubba made popular the quote, "It takes a village to raise a child". What she and Slick have failed to say is that they plan on being the chiefs of that village and the rest of us best do as we're told or they'll have us stoned to death. |
