This thread is NOT going dead. It has it's own ebb and flow,
due to the great deal of knowledge the "core" group has.
No surprises= Nothing new to post about. When we went to
$14, it was "expected" given the current news on FDA approval
late 1999. Backing off to 10 was also "expected" using TA,
and I did well selling my trading shares at that point.
Yup, I even shorted SNRS and covered for 3 pts. I remember
last year we exchanged investing philosophies. You said the
big bucks were made by long term holders, not traders.
I think you can have the best of both worlds. I have my
"core" and my "trading" SNRS shares.
"If" my target price for SNRS is $40 in 18 mo., I could equal
that price with my "trading" shares in about 1/2 the time
assuming I nail the corrections about 60% of the time on the
way up. Of course you need a superb TA to catch the correction
points. Anyway, back to the issue of postings.
I think this thread is one of the best on Silicon. We have
a perfect combination of DD, FA and TA. Even without Rainier
or Loren's contributions, we have, IMO, the best TA on S.I.,
with Mark (TATRADER). Furthermore, is there ANY new or
unknown information you have discovered on Yahoo or Raging
Bull that is not already known by all the members of this thread?
If so, I consider it "Your" responsibility to post it here
so we could all be made aware of it. Likewise the same holds
true with ALL member's of this thread should they come across
NEW information. I am not talking about new testimonials by
M.D. convert's or more potential patients waiting for the
process to be approved.
Also keep in mind many of the original people have either
stopped posting, ie: Nanny.......or have dramatically cut
back...You (till now), EmuGreg, Elsa, etc. Luckily the newer
posters have been excellent, but on S.I. when you get "many"
new posters, you usually get bashers, idiots, P & D's,
daytraders, hypester's and all the people you wish wouldn't
litter up the thread.
To sum up, I am happy with the quality and amount of postings
on this thread. Everything is falling into place exactly as
we all knew it would, and we don't need to post what we all
predicted would happen over a year ago.
Only if some new information comes out, would I expect a
barrage of new posts. In the meantime, I'm having fun on
other threads, but am never far away from my favorite stock.
Oh' BTW, Gooooooooooooooo SNRS---------> to $50, Yi Ha!
