Wow, I am sorry you asked me that! I didn't like Mentor for its products (past history), rather I liked it for the chart . My experience near term with the product is less than favorable, like near dog-shit for design automation software. That said, they have embarked on a mission to clean this act up! Our co. probably will buy a new upgrade just like everyone else. And that is my main attraction to it, that the large installed base already has a MENT investment and will closely listen to anew product enhancement. So near term we got whacked with this market but the momentum should carry this stock into a story stock for the year with or without the market. ( more without I think) and proper mgmt execution huge leverage into next year. As far as a comparison to SNPS or CDN, our application is for PCB design and not ASIC dev. so I cannot comment much other than we use SNPS with good success.
