Your story, Dave, is a very sad one, and I hope that you find some solace in the sympathy of your friends here and elsewhere. You write:

My math is rather shaky, but nine years would mean that the IRS persecution began before this administration took office. It may therefore be slightly unfair to lay all the blame at its door.
