Dear X, I, too, am sorry that your father was shot. The link you posted was inactive, so I don't know what happened. I don't suppose that matters, but I am curious. I don't know whether it was a long time ago, or recently, although maybe that doesn't matter, either. You are a very nice person, very intelligent, and good hearted, and I like you very much. I think we all like you, and are lucky to have you. Thank you for being brave enough to tell us about your pain, it is a lesson to us all.
Edit: I tried the link again, and it worked. I wonder about the web site, it seemed dedicated to incidents where people shot up their workplace and killed coworkers?
I am Catholic, and the Catholic church opposes the death penalty, but I do not. I think that people who kill other people continue to be potentially dangerous, and it is impossible to incarcerate them safely. I don't think innocent people should be endangered, and regretfully support the death penalty as I would support euthanizing a rabid dog. |
