You didn't include the last graph... The fastest growing major PC vendor in the region last year was China's Legend Group, whose sales grew 73.4% to 564,000 units, ranking it third behind Compaq (891,000 units) and IBM (848,000 units) among PC vendors in the region. ...don't see Dell in this list. Profit margins will continue to erode quickly. Dell will likely go the way of CPQ as of a year or so ago. CPQ set itself up for the future while Dell stole the spotlight temporarily. sf
