Just reviewing the posts. Wow, if that is really the stupidest thing you've done , I would like to regularly consult with you . Hey , just for fun, I got into CNET at 135 , then 101 , and then after that 121. This was all in three days. Now that's a zinger. MFNX has had these swings before...look at the history. I had to sell a few shares this week cause I had too much in the margin . Now that's stupid . I'll get them back when I can . The past week was probably like that for alot of other investors besides me--don't think I'm the only temporarily overzealous investor around here......so I hope this week is better. A question though as far as education--seems as though The Co. was making some sort of special capital investment campaign around the end of the year. I wonder how it went ? As far as Qwest , I remember reading a really neat story about the development of the Co. and the characters . Dynamic bunch . He buys the whole stinkin railroad company to get the right of way to lay a few thousand miles of fiber. Thought this was brilliant..path is clear and neatly cut and serviceable. Gates probably has courted everybody's business in the world, but I did read that he's nudging around these fiber Co.s. Guess they're all looking for a mainline to simplify the delivery of their goods. Personally I'd probably do better laying fiber , which I know nothing about , than picking stocks that immediately go boom. But for now I'm gonna' try to hold onto what I have in MFNX. If you read all this, you must be bored. Thanks for letting me spew. Best wishes.
