Thank's for the comments on Voltaire and Chuzzlewit's postings. If I buy some shares of DELL in the future, I'll keep my eye open for their postings.
Yesterday was the first time I took a look at the Dell thread. One thing I noticed was that a few people were trying to be level headed and logical about what happened (and why). They were trying to take information available to people like us, the individual investor, and put it in a context. It surprised me that for the most part, these people did not receive replies to their postings, their postings having been swamped by others expressing disbelief, outrage, and denial. I felt very sorry for these people who were trying to come to a logical understanding of rather than find an emotional explanation for the Dell dive on Friday. These people were basically ignored by their fellow thread members.
