Maria Bartiromo teased the upcoming feature twice pre-show, basically saying ALU combined family
values with cutting edge technology ...

"combined in one company" (she raised a finger to emphasize the 'one')...

Then, during the show:
"and then a family that finds time to maintain tradition and also finds time to run the worlds largest
online perfume store..when we return."

"Coming up next, tradition and tech-savvy help propel FragranceCounter.com into a league of its own"
(with an offhand comment by Tyler M. "anything dot-com.")

The feature...

Maria B: Well, just in case you didn't know it, there's only one shopping day until Valentines ...guys,
and if you're still looking for that one perfect gift - perfume is always a classic choice. Thanks to
technology, more and more people are turning to the internet to buy their favorite fragrance. In fact,
Cyber Sales in the perfume business have sky rocketed over the past year. Garret Glaser joins us now
with a look at the number One online perfume store."

[Garrett makes some sweet nothing remarks regarding Maria B's scent..Maria B. giggles & blushes]

GG: When you think of hot internet companies, what comes to mind? Hip-young execs..cutting-edge
workplaces? Tonight we're gonna introduce you to Fragrance Counter dot-com, it's an internet
company that combines the old-world and the new in a very successful mix.

GG narrating / CNBC: Say hello to the top executives at the number one online website for perfume
sales.

CNBC: Victor Jacobs and his sons run - Ahh-leww - a company that distributes health and beauty
aids.

CNBC: The firm branched out into selling perfumes online back in 1995. The COO of the company, Eli
Katz made the initial deal with AOL.

Eli Katz: After calling them for months, they finally said 'alright you're bugging us so much...you can
sell online'

CNBC: The company started it's own website Fragrance Counter dot-com and quickly locked up some
strategic marketing agreements with Yahoo! eXCite and Microsoft.

Eli: "You need location, location, location.. and that's what we've got."

CNBC: But that rule only applies to their website. When it comes to their location of their offices,
they're happy to settle for a gritty industrial park on Long Island, New York.

CNBC: This no-frills approach is in keeping with the Jacob family's religous beliefs. They belong to an
ultra-orthodox Jewish sect. But Being traditional doesn't mean being outdated.

Herman Jacobs, Allou President: Everything that God made in this world was made to be used and you
have to use it in the right way. You're talking about the internet, if it can be used to do business in it,
then that's what we're going to do.
