Originally, MM looked to merge with Poppe Tyson on their own when they were both private co's. They had "creative differences" and couldn't get it done.

Then MM sold to TNO and formed TN Technologies. Poppe Tyson, I think, sold themselves to Bozell. Then TNO bought Bozell last year. MM and Poppe Tyson combined forces and MMPT was spun off as a public company.

Hope that clears it up.
