Increased activity is probably reaction to the NR. It is very positive and I believe that stock is finding new support level. This is a good junior company with money in the bank, good program and excellent management.

Nevsun Resources: Diamond Drilling Commences at Tabakoto
Project, Mali

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Nevsun Resources Ltd., (NSU.T),
announces that it has commenced a 2,000 metre oriented diamond
drilling program at its Tabakoto Project in western Mali. The aim
and objective of this program is to gain a better understanding of
the continuity of the mineralized structures and to further
upgrade the resource model for the Tabakoto Project.

As announced on August 10, 1998, an independent resource estimate
was conducted and prepared by the geological consulting firm,
Pearson, Hofman & Associates Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario. This
resource estimate totaled an indicated resource of 1,372,000
ounces gold and an additional inferred resource of 505,000 ounces.
Based on this resource estimate, an updated independent
prefeasibility study was completed on November 10, 1998, by BLM
Bharti Engineering Inc. of Toronto, Ontario.

The Company has also commenced the process of seeking an
exploitation license for the Tabakoto Project.
