The Golf Stock Market is an on-line fantasy golf simulation based on the stock market; where the stocks are PGA Tour players.

Some of you are already playing the game, and some of you may not know it is there. <g>
In 2 weeks, the regular season (competition play) will start, so now is a good time to signup and learn how to play. You start out with $100,000.00 to buy and sell stocks in the players. Your goal is to increase your portfolio value percentage for the month of play. The top 3 game players get prizes, but the top 5 players are placed into the grand prize run-off to be held the month of October. Regular season play is March through September.
At the end of the month, every game player keeps their money they have
accumalated, but their percentage value gets reset to 0%. Now again for the month you try to increase your portfolio value to win prizes and get an entry into the grand prize run-off.
In case you don't know, the Golf Stock Market can be played 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Most of the other so called 'fantasy' golf games are what I term as Pick & Wait type of games. You pick golfer(s) by thursday and you find out on sunday if you win. Similar to the newspaper sunday picks type of games used for football pools. With the Golf Stock Market, you can buy and sell stocks at any time you want. If you buy on a tuesday and saturday the stock is up 40%, then sell it and take the profit. <g> The prices for the stocks are updated throughout tournament play. This means that while
the tournament today is the Buick Invitational, the values of the stocks will be updated every 10 minutes while the tournament is in play. Which should be starting at about 09:00am PST and end this afternoon. For every tournament, the prices are updated throughout the play so you can take advantage of increases in stock values.
